This matt black concrete bowl is created using a mould cast from a real wooden bowl. As a result, natural grooves, grain lines, indentations, and textured markings are intentionally preserved in the final piece. These features — which may resemble cracks or splits — are part of the original wood grain design and handcrafted casting process and are not structural cracks, damage, or defects.

 

As shown in the listing images, the surface texture and wood-grain details remain visible beneath the matt black finish. These markings are intentional and form an essential part of the wood-look aesthetic.

 

Each bowl is individually handmade and finished using a matt black pigment. To maintain the appearance and colour of the piece, care should be taken to avoid impact, scratching, or chipping, as damage to the surface may affect the finish.
